People have always been inspired by the words and actions of others. Hearing about their accomplishments, struggles and overcoming them. How they beat the odds and possibly what they learned from it, it can be empowering to those hearing it.
I hope you are watching or listening to this in the morning… If not, that’s fine as long as you listen. In the morning you can reflect on the day ahead and possibly how you can apply these thoughts to your day.
Don’t just listen take action on the questions asked,. That is what will result in thoughts that bring change. The questions we ask ourselves can control change navigate what we focus on. A can make you search your mind for the answers.

What are some of the things that I appreciate about myself that make me self-confident?
Many times what others think or how they see us matters to us. Example ppl care about if someone thinks they are fat or not pretty etc. Those things have never mattered to me. Now don’t get me wrong I don’t want to hear anyone say to me oooo you’ve gained weight. But if I’ve gained, I’ve gained. But I don’t want to hear about it, unless I’m behaving as if I’m in denial about it…
I was a size 6 long time and I didn’t have to be 8-10 is fine because I’m 5’6. I gained some weight idk how much maybe 15-20 lbs so I still wasn’t fat per say. But obvious weight gain… I went dancing and a guy was saying hey kim haven’t seen you in long time, we miss dancing with you… we were dancing at the time. He said I see you’ve gotten a lil thick. He didn’t mean any harm, black men say thick, it means not skinny but look good. But I personally don’t like being called thick, because ppl get thick mixed up with overweight. But anyway I responded saying yes I haven’t been working out. He said oh , lease don’t lose it, lol… I didn‘t like the extra weight. I felt lighter a lil bit smaller. But it wasn’t big deal. I was confident either way, but I want to look how I want to not others want me too. I’ve had 3 back surgeries, so I need to keep weight off. To help with reduction of any pain….
I appreciate how I control how I feel about me. I know it bothers many ppl how others see them and that is something to work on. Building your self confidence because extra junk in your trunk shouldn’t kill your confidence if you are an awesome person…
What ppl say about you when demeaning says more about them than what they are saying about you…

What’s always in the back of your mind? Please know many ppl think and feel as you do.
In the back of my mind is will I get it done? I should’ve had it done already. Maybe it’s too late… then I say nah, never too late… I feel any ridiculous fear or hesitation and do it any… this has taken years of internal growth to be where I am.
What would you like to stop doing? Procrastination lol… used to be eating those sour cream and onions after 10. sometimes I will have gone all day without. Then it could be 11pm and I get in my car drive to corner store and buy me some… even if I was kinda sleepy… that’s crazy.
Take responsibility, not pills, for what ails you. Find out what you are doing that is not good for you and stop.. figure out what you like to do, want to do and what you are good at and do it. Struggle, I’m outta here… do not beat up on yourself. Don not criticize yourself. Above all, do not limit yourself. Pick yourself up. Put yourself on the path and let yourself know… I’m outta here… Iyala Vanzant
I know those words are easier said than done… but do you want it for yourself?
I’m happy about the little things I do. Back to the Pringles, lol. I take things like that one day at a time then one day it’s been weeks... now note I will eat some. But I was eating several cans per week. They need to be a reward not the norm for me. When I succeed in small steps for something I’m excited and proud of that.
So answer this … How can I praise myself even more for the things that I do well, even the small things?

Instead of always looking at the past, I put myself ahead twenty years and try to look at what I need to do now in order to get there then. Diana Ross
I like this quote, but I don’t look ahead that far, if I’m totally honest. However I do look at myself and my current at this moment and realize what I did 90 days ago etc is why i am where I am. I think about what do I want and figure out what I need to get it. My first focus is to always work on myself internally. I’m very honest with myself. The good the bad and ugly… I want to create a future of joy and love and purpose doing the will of God…
So guy It’s time to learn to love yourself where you are and enjoy life now, not 10 lbs from now
